My favourite color is yellow but almost all of my clothes are blue. I don't know why I can't go to work and around in all yellow clothes :)

I absolutely love green and blue colors because they remind me of the tranquility of the forest and the vastness of the sky and ocean. They bring me a deep sense of peace.

Hello LearnEnglish team,
Are the phrases "out of the blue" and "a bolt from the blue" used with the same meaning, for something unexpected either good or bad? Or "a bolt from the blue" is used mainly when some unexpected bad news is received?
