Tips

  1. In your email, remember to thank the candidate for their application.
  2. Remember to include information about:
    • What position the interview is for and what will be discussed at the interview.
    • When the interview will take place.
    • Who to contact if there is a problem, who will be interviewing them and who the candidate should ask for when they arrive.
    • Where the interview will be.
    • How long the interview will last.
    • What to bring – IDs (proofs of identity), references, etc.
  3. Write the date in words, e.g. Thursday 3 April. Don't write the date in numbers – in some countries 3 April, for example, is 3/4 and in other countries it's 4/3.
  4. You can end the email with a set phrase like We look forward to meeting / hearing from / seeing you soon.

What are your tips for doing well in job interviews? What type of questions have you been asked?

I actually haven't had an interview for many years because my current job is very good and so I can only say what I would like when I interview.

First of all, I like it when people speak correctly and clearly and ask me many details about the job because I understand that they want it.

Despite I haven’t been in a job interview for a while now, I would recomend to research the
company, the history of them and the job you intend to apply for in order to demonstrate you are
really interested in the job and you’re not only applying for the money they’ll pay you.
Also I would bring some evidence of experience about tasks or jobs done in the past to show
you’re prepared to the position they’re looking for.
Usually in my country the HR employees ask the same questions at almost every interview, they ask
about past experience in similar positions, what’s the reason your applying for and so on. I recomend
to be sincere and clear. There is a reson because they call you, so be self-confident.

Thanks for the lesson.

Great site!

I have two tips for an interview:

First - You should be confident myself and you need to tell exactly and honest. If you don't know answer on the questions then you explain  that you don't have experience but you can learn it quickly. Because when you are afraid of something or unsure of yourself, anybody feels it.

Second - When you are asked about  first job you should only tell  good things, because the employer may think that you are a gossip and you also may spread bad information about of him in the future.

1- Tell the truth about your abilities, not those which you would like to have.

What are your tips for doing well in job interviews?

1- Tell the truth about your abilities, not those which you would like to have.

2- Clear in your mind what kind of situation you can't accept. As a result, you can speak decisively about it in the meeting if it is needed instead of telling them, I'm thinking about it!

3- If your job needs to study, make yourself up-to-date

4-personally, If I get negative energy from the environment and the interviewer, I will never accept it right off the bat though it seems like a great opportunity. This is where I'm saying, I'm thinking about it and let you know

5- Ask them to clearly state your responsibilities. And if you agree, ask for it to be included in your contract

I usually think of the questions I would be asked and how to answer them properly. Also, give the outfit I will be wearing careful consideration. and things like how long will it take to get there, what kind of transportation I will use to go there. I am always keen to to arrive 15 minutes before the interview time, too.
The type of questions I have been asked were about my educational background, experience, skills, my long term and short term goals.

Useful tips start with the basic, get enough sleep, be well prepared, be well-groomed and presentable, have confidence in yourself and specially be on time. You'll probably be asked about your work experience and relevant skills for the job. Like, how would you be an asset to the company. Make sure to establish good eye contact with the interviewer to show your confidence and interest for the position. Listen attentively and ask question if necessary. Don't forget to smile. Remind yourself to give your best shot and don't let any opportunity to slip through your fingers.

The tips that I got from the interview, are to be well prepared for the interview you should study in the area in which you will be interviewed, including taking a look at your previous jobs tasks yo done which match with the one you are interviewed for it, wear the great outfit to match the jobs environment, and have full confidence on your ability. Also, carefully review your resume before the interview so that you have full information about the past jobs you have done.
