Hello dear team! Task 3 point 2 "I'm sure Germany are going to win" this is the correct answer according the tast but shouldn't we say "I'm sure Germany IS going to win"? in a singular way? Germnay is one country, I'm a little confused with this sentence.

Hello Joel-0505,

Nouns which describe institutions or organisations can be used as either singular or plural. For example:

The police is... [the police as an institution]

The police are... [the police as a group of police officers]

Other examples of nouns which function like this are institutions such as the army or the navy, sports teams (as in your example - Germany), music groups, governments, charities, pressure groups, trade unions and so on.

Why I can't see your videos? None of Words on the Street category videos.

Hello masihn1,

I'm sorry that you've not been able to see the videos. I've checked the videos and they are working for me now.

Sometimes, our videos are not available in certain locations, but I have a few suggestions which might help. If you still can't see this one, are you able to see any other videos on our site (for example, Starting Out episode 1 or English is Great 1)? If not, please try using a different browser and/or device to see if that helps. If none of that works, please let us know what browser and browser version you're using.

Finally, you might be able to see some of the episodes on the BBC's site for Iran.

I hope this helps you.

All the best,
Kirk
