Subject: Request for new price list for V1698 face creams

Dear Yuki,

We are presenting to some new clients next Monday 10 December and they are interested in our V1698 face creams.

I understand from Kate that the prices have changed recently. She mentioned that you have the new price list. Do you think you could email it to me?

I would be grateful if we could have it by close of business on Thursday 6 December. That would give us time to prepare for our presentation.

Thanks very much for your help.

Best regards,

Gabriela

Tips

  1. Some people prefer you to use their first names, and others prefer you to use their title (e.g. Ms/Mr) + their surnames. Find out what is normal in your company when writing emails.
  2. Explain the reason for the request.
  3. Give a deadline when possible.
  4. Give dates clearly.
  5. Make your request polite by starting it with Do you think you could … ? or I would be grateful if you/we/I could … .
  6. If you don't know the person you are writing to well, you can finish by writing Best regards just before you sign your name.

Yes, I do. I often write emails to my colleagues , because sometimes I would like to confirm about homework and information from my university. The university send us emails about information of the lessons. Because of that, communication by using emails is indispensable for us. However, in rare case, it may not be possible to understand only the content sent by emails. In particular, all classes are now offered in online due to the influence of the spread of COVID-19 all over the world, so the number of email exchanges has increased more than before. In addition to that, since I am going to study abroad, so the university often sends me emails about studying abroad. These emails are very important, because studying abroad is huge event and it costs a lot of money. Also my parents paid those money, so I need to tell them the information that sent to me, if the content was unclear, my parents sometimes told me to send an email to the university. Because of this, I often send emails to college

Yes, I do. I usually write a lot of emails about homework to my colleagues. Now, under the influence of Corona virus we are taking classes online so, often I can't understand about how to do or submit an assignment alone. Email is very convenient and useful. It allows you to stay in touch with my colleagues as if they were on my side, even if they are not on my side. I am relieved because there is such a function. With email, we can operate smoothly.

Yes. I send many emails to my colleagues. There are several reasons and many advantages. First, unlike telephone calls, you can communicate in an environment where you cannot speak. On the other hand, when I make a phone call, there are times when the surroundings are noisy and I can't hear the words of my colleagues, but when I send it by e-mail, I don't have to worry about that. There are also things that can be sent in addition to text. For example, you can express emotions by using emoji and stamp functions, and you can also send pictures and videos. Besides, when the other person reads his/her email, it will also have the mark as read. These features are built into email, so you can communicate by email without having to talk over the phone. Apps such as LINE, Twitter, and Instagram have many more useful functions, so please give it a try.
