Selina: Patrick? Is that you?

Patrick: Selina! Hello!

Selina: Well, well. Patrick Eastwood. How have you been?

Patrick: Good. Great, actually. How are you? I haven't seen you for ... how long?

Selina: It's been ages. At least fifteen years. Wow.

Patrick: Yeah. Wow.

Patrick and Selina: So, what are you doing here?

Selina: Sorry, you go first.

Patrick: OK. What are you doing here? I thought you'd moved to London.

Selina: I was in London for a couple of years. But it didn't work out.

Patrick: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Are you ... OK?

Selina: I'm fine! The dream job wasn't really a dream, you know? Um ... and London is great but it's so expensive. I mean, just the rent on a flat is ... uh … crazy expensive.

Patrick: I see.

Selina: So, I came back. I've been back now for almost five months. Living back home with Mum and Dad. Which is err ... interesting. Um ... but anyway, what about you?

Patrick: Me? Oh, nothing new. You know me – 'Patrick the predictable'. I never left here.

Selina: Oh. And is that ...?

Patrick: Oh, I'm very happy. I'm married now. We've just celebrated our tenth anniversary.

Selina: No way! You? Married? To …?

Patrick: I don't think you know her. Her name's Marigold. And we've got two kids. They're five and eight years old.

Selina: Married and with two kids? Wow!

Patrick: Don't look so surprised!

Selina: No, no … I'm just amazed how time flies! I'm happy for you. I really am.

Patrick: Thanks. You should really come round to the house one day.

Selina: That would be great. Let's swap numbers and ...

I really do not keep on touch with my old friends even the new ones. I do not have time to do so. I always finish work late at 7 pm. then after having dinner and talk a little bit to my family it reaches 10 pm and then I fall asleep. If we talked about weekends and holidays, then I classify myself as home man which like to stay home watching tv or playing games on the computer or working or studying. I consider going out with friends is wasting time ⌚. I think it does not make any sense to stay with people look and talk to each other and from my point of view it is better to consume such hours in something get benefits to me. I really do not enjoy to do so. But I really would like to mention that it was not my behavior when I was younger. when I was in school, I loved my friends, and I spent most my free time with the hanging around, going to the beach together, playing football, go to cinema …. etc. and I can till you it would be a very pad day if I did not meet one of my friends. In this issue I would like to till to a secret, on my first year in collage I missed an exam because I preferred to stay with my colleagues on the club instead of going to the exam.

I've still got an old friend in London and I call her two or three times a year.

I've kept in touch with university friends and with six school friends, we usually cook BBQs or travel to a near city for swimming in a river. It's really great to spend time with old friends.

Yes I am, although I would like to see them more frequently, we try to meet at least one time every couple of years, It's difficult though because most of them are married and raising babies or children so It's been ages since the last time I saw some of them. I reckon it's difficult some times to keep in touch with an old friend because time changes people and in some cases although we could give a try to the dream friendship, it doesn't work out.
Every time we met we agree that time flies and it's crazy hard to see how we're getting older with the passage of time but it's really nice to see them.

Thanks for the lesson.
Great site!

It's been a decade and I still have contact with my friends from college. Despite we are now living from different countries and have own families, we still have communication with each other. In fact, we have a group chat and leave a messages for everyone.

t's have been ages, I haven't met since five years. I missed my old friends who are very mischievous, naught in the class. I don't use any social media app so now I should make profile on social media. So I met and contact old friends.

Yes, I keep in touch with old friends but not at all. I'm just amazed how time flies. There are friends who used to talk so much but no longer keep in touch again. However, there are people who rarely talk with me but actively contact. I really was crazy happy to be contacted by an old friend so I think they would also be happy if I do so.
