Thank you!!
Hi Carolina,
I just wanted to write and say thank you for everything.
You and your family were amazing hosts. I had a great time at your house. Thank you for making me feel at home. I'm sure my English improved a lot because of all your help too! Also, thank you for all the wonderful cooking you did. Now I can tell everyone English food is not as bad as they say .
If you ever come to Sri Lanka, I hope you will stay with me and I can show you my city too.
Keep in touch!.
Pradeep
Tips
- Start with Hi if it is an informal email to someone you know.
- The email can have three main paragraphs:
- the reason for writing (= to say thank you)
- the main point (= more details or examples)
- a wish or offer for the future.
- Use emojis (e.g.
) or emoticons (e.g. :) ) to show you're joking.
- You can say See you soon / See you next year if you hope to meet again.
- Use a closing phrase like Keep in touch, Write soon, Speak soon or Take care.

Yes i would like it. If i will go to learn foreing language there. i belive that interaction with someones is very important on language education. It is said in Turkey that foreing language doesn't learn unless touch tongue to tongue :))
I would like to, why not it's going to improve your English faster and on top of that you wouldn't feel lonely.
Hello Mike,
I just wanted to write and say thank you for everything.
I had a great time with your friends, thank you for making me at home. your homemade food was delicious.
Would you like to stay with a host family in a new country?
Yes, of course. I love to stay with a host family in a new country if I get opportunity. Because I can learn their custom and culture, habits and language. I can also taste their traditional foods. I can request to one of their family member to accompany when I visit the historical places and ask what I want to know. I am hoping for getting that chance sooner.
Of course! I like meeting new people and their habits. And I like every possibility to improve my language skills, especially speaking and listening.
Yes,I would like to stay with a host family in a new country.I wanted to learn new experiences about life.I also want to improve my English skills a lot. So,if my host is a friendly native speaker , I would like to learn speaking skills from them.I want to go everywhere I have never been to.
