Where is your favorite place for a holiday?
I love water and nature. wherever I can swim and walk in nature, especially in silence, is a good place for spending holiday. I love green trees, colorful flowers, and cool breezes. I also love to experience becoming a resident in a modern and green hotel with healthy food. I'm interested in cycling, boating, and fishing. going to a good place is not enough. besides it, the one who accompanies you is very important. being with the wrong people can hide much of the beauty from your eyes. because you get focused on what you don't want. If I haven't got the right people, I prefer to be alone and enjoy my own seconds.

Hello, dear teachers and team!

Could you please help me with the following: (I'm sorry if it's not quite up to the point):

1. As far as I know, I can say "I went on Facebook". How do you say otherwise? If I spend some time on Facebook and then I am not using Facebook, can I say "I leave (go out of) Facebook"? Or is there another word?

I'm very very grateful for your immense help and thank you very much indeed for clarifying this point beforehand!

Hello howtosay_,

'I went on FB', 'I was on FB', 'I saw a post on FB', etc. are all common ways to say this. Though to be honest, in my experience people don't usually mention the specific place they saw something -- they just say they saw it.

In most contexts, I'm not sure anyone would say they stopped using FB -- in my experience, they'd probably just say, 'And then I saw X on Instagram'. But you could say that you 'signed out of' or 'logged out of' or 'logged off of' FB. Though again, most people don't actually sign out -- they just close the app or tab and move on. They might sign out of FB on their home computer before turning it off in preparation for a trip if that's what you had in mind.

I hope this helps.

All the best,
Kirk

For me, the best place for a holiday is Italy. I have never been there, but it's my dream, and I hope that one day it will come true.

My favorite place for holiday is going hiking. I like doing adventure that is amazing and thrilling. I can hear singing a song from the birds that are amazing. Furthermore, I can see the view of the city from on top of the mountain.

My favorite place for a holiday is going to the beach, particularly sitting by the beach, filling with the smell of the sea, watching and hearing the waves when crashing with each other and finally breaking on the shore.
