We asked people about their favourite weather and how it makes them feel. Here's what they said.
I grew up in Vermont, USA, where we had winter weather from October to April, and temperatures could reach -35 degrees. Now that I live near Barcelona, I don't miss such long winters or such extreme cold, but neither do I like the long, hot and muggy summer weather we have here. My favourite weather is moderately sunny or partly cloudy skies with cool temperatures at night and warm ones during the day. I think it's because I love being outside, and this is the most comfortable weather for that.

I'm from Cornwall, in south-west England, and the weather there is amazing as it's full of surprises. You can have 'four seasons in one day' sometimes, as it's really changeable. You can wake up in the rain, then have a few hours of sunshine and then it goes cloudy and wet again. You just never know what's next! But the best thing about Cornish weather is the wind. There's nothing better than walking on the cliffs and having the fresh air blow in from the Atlantic. It's really refreshing. I also even quite enjoy mizzle, which is a local word to describe the combination of mist and drizzle.

This might be a bit unusual, but I really like cold weather! I like wrapping up warm with a thick coat, scarf, hat and boots, and seeing my breath condense in the air. I like sipping hot chocolate to warm up. It is exciting to look out of the window in the morning and see a carpet of snow on the ground from an overnight snowfall. It makes me feel happy and nostalgic.

This is pure nostalgia, but I miss snow! I remember that magical feeling as a child, watching white flakes falling from the sky. It was the best thing that could possibly happen on a school day. You open the curtains in the morning and find everything covered in white. When it doesn't happen often, it's so exciting, beautiful and different. And you just know that normal life is cancelled for the day.

Hello! First of all I hate the heat above everything and here in northern Italy during the Summer I suffer a lot. I like to do sports outdoors and therefore I prefer when it doesn't rain and is not very cold. However, I also like Winter and when when it’s all snowy.
I love warm days. I think it's the ideal temperature for feeling good, motivated and it's good for been inside and outside home. I love when the sky it's all blue without clouds.
Hi, I am Agnes from Algeria. I live in the city of Blida, far from Algeria about 50 km. In Algeria, especially in the north, there are four seasons. But to be honest, summer is getting hotter and longer compared to previous years. I think it's because of climate change. Now it's September and it's less hot. For me, personally I prefer winter. In Algeria, it's not too cold in winter, except for a few days. I like when it rains, especially when I am sleeping.
I was born in western Siberia and when I lived there I love the winter and hate other three seasones. Yes, it was cold, but the central heating and a lot of warm clotes made this season more comfortable. I loved this feeling when you wake up and see a snowfall outside the window. The road to school became a kind of adventure. There were a lot of banks of snow which were people-size and some parts of the road had ice so that you can get faster moving on it.
Now I'm living in place where not any snow in the winter and I miss about it.
My favorite weather is spring because the temperature is equilibrating. Besides this, I love to see flowers everywhere.

My favorite weather is Ukrainian spring, especially the weather in May. These days we have moderate temperatures and sunny days with refreshing wind. Sometimes it rains but raindrops are pretty warm and even pleasant. And do you know what I like about the spring weather the most? It's a lovely fresh scent of green grass and recently awakened from winter nature!

My favorite weather is cool and drizzle, so I Like the spring and autumn. I just get that weather only by traveling to cold country because ,my country is very hot. But I like the summer for I get the tan.

He everyone. I love all weather. Summer becaurce it is hot and if I go out, take only a skirt or a shorts and a t-shirt or a dresses. And the day are long and you can do lot of things outside. Autumn is very nice to. There are a lot of colors outside. Winter is super, I love snow and minus temperatures and wear a coth and a hat. And spring is beautiful. Every thing are green, flower are grow and startin a new live in a nature.
I really love sunny mornings. It brings back a lot of memories and makes me really nostalgic. It only happens every so often, since I live in a temperate city near the Andes Mountains and the weather is usually cloudy.
Hello, I'm from Italy and I loved summer season until some years ago. I love to walk in the park and in the city, go to the beach and so on. But The last summers were too much hot cause climate change... now is impossible enjoing the beautyful summer days like before. I'm Uta from Bavaria, Germany, and we're in the summer season at the moment. This morning it was raining heavily and we had a thunderstorm, it was cloudy and stormy, but now the sun is shining, there are some smalls clouds in the sky and we have about 27 degrees. I love every one of our four seasons, so at the moment I enjoy the summer time - it's hot, but in the morning and evening you can sit outside and enjoy the feeling, look at the plants in our garden and at the animals like birds, butterflies, bees ... that's really lovely! And it's wonderful to be in the garden and sit there with family and friends for some cake and coffee and talking together.

But now, I live in Canada and I really love the cold summer. That is my new word. I've not been feel the winter. So I have not known how the winter is in here. the rainy weather is my favorite , in general I prefer the winter days and the spring days sometimes, but I really cant bear the summer weather at all
For me i like winter days, i feel refreshing and the feeling of cold days make me calm with hot chocolate at 11 pm watching a good movie in may laptop

I like when the sun is shining outside, but I don't like warm temperatures. I am more used to the cold since I lived in Norway when I was younger. I really enjoyed the winters there, full of snow. I actually prefer colder temperatures cause you can just wrap yourself up in cosy sweaters or drink heart-warming beverages, which for me is just so magical.

My favorite weather is Monsoon , I like to dance in the rain and cycle in the rain , going to school wearing the raincoats and sometimes even taking the umbrella and sometimes I cut the corners in a regular lecture at school, to see the lovely rainfall and touch it.
I live in the North of Vietnam, at the time transfer from winter to spring, the weather is not really pretty. Humidity is so high, it's misty, rainy, wet all days long. Even the floor, the wall of house is sweaty. It's difficult to have activities outside. And I quite don't like this time of the year.

Hi friend, I am also from the North of Vietnam. As you described the period when it transfers from winter to spring, I really hate that moment because the floor is always wet and slippery sometimes, I almost fall several times whenever I move quickly on the floor. I think not only us, but also most of Northern people hate it. Besides, my favourite weather is cold. I was born in Oct and that's one of the reasons why I like coldness of weather. I like wearing sweater and hoodie in the winter. I'm into wrap myself with blanket in free day.

I was brought up in the north of Spain, the green part of the country, and now i'm living in Brussels where the weather is similar to the one i knew in my hometown. But for me, the best weather is the one i had when i was living in the Canary Islands: warm spring all along the year. No cold winter, no hot summer.
For me I like chilly weather but not too extreme conditions. I enjoy the feeling of not getting sweaty. The downside part is when you have a deadline at work, this will make you sleepy.
I love sunny but not hot day, my best temperature it's between 10 and 25 degrees. I love walk in the mountain and my favorite season it's spring when the temperature it's little warm.
I just love rainy days! In my country, we usually have "Tortas Fritas" on a rainy day, which are delicious!!! But I also like to have "Arroz con Leche" which is rice cooked with milk. It makes me feel so full that I usually take a nap after that. I also enjoy reading or doing some indoor activities like painting or drawing. These days make me so nostalgic!
I make me feel better the mild weather because I dislike the cold and the heat. In Buenos Aires It is very difficult because the weather isn't very nice.

Warm but a little windy day in the beginning of Autum is my favorite weather.
The wind carry the sweet smell of the flowers of Orange fragrant olive everywhere around us. We can enjoy the wonderful smell even if we are inside when we open windows. I really enjoy keeping on paddling the pedals of my bike smelling the flowers. So, I definitely need a little wind in the season!

I'm from Mariupol (Ukraine). It's situated on the Azov Sea and is temporarily occupied. For me, the best weather is warm summer days, near the sea, from which a light fresh wind always blows and this feeling of sea salt in the air. Wherever I am, I always see my Azov Sea on the horizon and it seems to me that I can smell it.

I live in Nairobi, Kenya. The weather changes most of the time. Sometimes it's sunny other times it rains especially early mornings, afternoons it's mostly sunny. I like it sunny, the perfect weather to go about my daily routine.
Nowadays, spring is in the full. The weather is awesome due to the rainy season and cool breeze blowing around. The weather really turns my mood on, some times I feel like I should be with some I love. The weather has a very big impact on my mood. I like the winter and spring seasons. there is no sweating in these seasons. Mostly, the sky is dark and cloudy in these seasons.
The weather in my department where I live, it is almost always humid. Every time rains over here. but it is also sunny and hot. The people here love the rain, so they go out to enjoy the rainy-day playing soccer, volleyball, even hide and seek. my department is the 3rd most rainy place of the world.
Here in Damascus - Syria we've four seasons. Spring, summer, autumn and winter. I prefer autumn season because it's warm weather and no pollen like spring.
