I loved writing letters, because there is always full emotion. In modern times I prefer WhatsApp, but for something formal I prefer email.

Of course, I will use Messenger platform to make a phone call for my close friend and tell them everything. I think this is the fast way and convenience.

I think I would use social apps like WhatsApp or Instagram. For Instagram, I think I could use the DM or interacting at a post via comments.

I often use social apps like Telegram and Instagram to share important news with my closest friends, but in some cases, I prefer to call them and tell them sth immediately.

I would call my closest friends. I believe it's a more sincere way to share important news.

Communicating through email is not common in the society I came from. So I would most likely use social media platforms or messaging apps like WhatsApp to tell important news.

Definitely I choose whatsapp to be in contact with my friends and family. Today we have many options for create digital invitations, and not only simple texts. Moreover, the works activities and family routines make tough to have time for keep in constantly communications with all. Therefor, its more practice short and regular messages.

Well, I would prefer using formal form for important things, like E-Mails or Letters.

Considering it's an old friend, a live form of communications like social messenger might not appropriate. It's more suitable for casual things, not to announce things, moreover, as someone who didn't meet him/her for long time.

Imagine if like this reading sections. You're going to be married, then you send a WhatsApp message to your elementary school buddy, "hey I'm going to get marry!" no invitation, no letters. That's will look like a joke or pranks rather than a real important news.
