Jo: Hey, Kirk!
Kirk: Hi there.
Joanne: Hi!
Kirk: How are you doing?
Jo: Morning, everyone!
Joanne: Morning
Jo: Here we are. Another day. Tuesday today. I didn't speak to any of you yesterday. Did you have good weekends?
Kirk: Yeah
Joanne: Yeah, pretty good, thanks. What about you?
Joanna: Oh, I had such a good one. I had such a good one.
Joanne: Tell us about it.
Joanna: Oh, I went to a housewarming party of some friends that I met in 1999 when I started teaching in Barcelona.
Kirk and Joanne: Wow.
Joanna: Oh, it was really lovely. Really, really lovely. Just to see people that I hadn't seen for ages. What did you all do?
Tina: I went up to Warwick to meet old schoolfriends that I haven't seen for a very long time.
Joanna: Isn't it lovely to have reunions?
Tina: And I was so lucky because the weather was just… brilliant. It didn't rain – it was forecasted rain and it didn't – so we're really, really lucky. Got blue sky as well.
Joanna: Oh, nice. It's been nice here too, really sunny over the weekend.
Joanne: I had lovely weather too, I was back in the UK for the weekend. Yeah, and, unusually, we had sunshine and warm weather all weekend. And I saw old friends too, so, there we go.
Tina: It's not unusual having good weather in the UK, Jo! It's a myth about the UK.
Joanna: What were you doing in the UK, Jo?
Joanne: Oh, catching up with friends and family.
Joanna: Nice.
Joanne: Yeah. What about you, Kirk? Did you have a good one?
Kirk: Well, yeah, but it was raining in Bratislava and Vienna, where we went, so …
Joanna: You went to Bratislava this weekend?
Kirk: Er, yeah. My kids were playing in a concert. One Friday night in Bratislava, and Saturday night in Vienna.
Joanna: Whoa, that's amazing!
Kirk: Yeah, no, it was really nice. Really nice. But it was cold and either raining or drizzly for basically the whole time but it was nice.
Joanna: Oh my gosh, your children are like professional musicians already.
Kirk: Well, they were real concert halls, they were great concerts.
Joanna: Amazing.
Tina: Proud parent moment.
Joanna: Oh, very good, very good. So, everyone ready for the week ahead?
Tina: No.
Joanna: And me neither. Oh, well. All right. So, I guess we should get on with what we need to cover in today's call.
