B: Please call me Peter.

A: OK. Are you a medical doctor? It must be helpful when you sell medical equipment.

B: Actually, no. My doctorate was in electronic engineering, but it's still helpful for me when I sell our equipment.

A common bussiness card in my country will include full name, date of birth, address, position, contact info, company info,... Overall, an impressive\ card should be concise and clear.

Task 1

No 5

Could you explain why the answer is false. I think it's true.

Hello Sa Wan,

Megumi says:

My real name is Megumi Tanaka, but people who are not from my country think it's difficult to say my name, so I use another name, Meg, when I'm working internationally.

She says that other people think her name is difficult, but she doesn't say that she thinks it's difficult.

Perhaps I'm being too picky, but that was the idea behind this question.

Does that make sense?

Best wishes,
Kirk

Hi LearningEnglish team,

I hope your are doing well, how can I find a parter for speaking part to improve my speaking, if the speaker is native better to contact with,

from Turkey,

Hello paimanalinazar093,

I'm afraid that our House rules don't permit our users to share personal information for privacy reasons, but I have a couple of recommendations.

First, you might consider trying one of our online courses, where you can meet other people from around the world studying English, as well as interacting with your teacher in class time.

If our paid classes don't work for you, you could try our community events, which are generally held on Facebook. There you could meet lots of other people who'd also probably be interested in practising their English as well.

Best wishes,
Kirk

I am from Indonesia. To be honest, it's rare to find business cards where I live, as most people can easily get information about businesses from social media. My father used to have a business card that included a logo, his name, cellphone number, and the services he offered.
