Hello and good morning! Well, we're off to a good start in the south this week, as most of the rain from the weekend has disappeared – just a few patches of cloud and maybe some showers here on the east coast. They'll all clear up by lunchtime, though. Over the next day or so, London and the area around Kent can expect a couple of isolated showers, but mostly dry through until Thursday.
It's not such good news for the north-west this week, I'm afraid: more wet weather, and not a lot of sunshine. Some of today's showers will be heavy – and even thundery in Manchester and across the Pennines. Leeds will escape the thunderstorms, with drizzle and light rain only throughout the rest of the day and tonight.
Elsewhere it becomes dry today, but with some foggy patches towards Wales. In England, tomorrow morning will see a dry, bright start in most places, with high temperatures throughout the week. We might see one or two thunderstorms appearing as the week goes on, with temperatures everywhere at 29 to 30 degrees.
By the weekend, unfortunately, the dry weather will make way for mostly cloudy skies and rain. The rain will move from Scotland, down towards the north and reach the south coast by Saturday afternoon. Temperatures, at least, will stay mostly warm at around 21 degrees for the weekend. It might feel like a nice change from the high twenties and early thirties we'll see in the week. That's all from me until tomorrow. Enjoy the mini-heatwave while you can!
I like warm weather, where its around 20c to 25c max with light winds
I tend to prefer autumn because I don't enjoy extreme heat or cold. During summer nights, it can be difficult to sleep even with a fan or air conditioning, often leaving me feeling unwell in the morning. However, I do appreciate the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities during the day, such as going to the beach. In contrast, winter allows for comfortable sleep with a heavy blanket, but it can be hard to motivate myself to leave the house for any activities. Ultimately, I find autumn to be the perfect balance - not too hot, not too cold, but just right.
This listening exercise is really challenging for me; there are hardly any pauses throughout, leaving no time for digestion.
"we're off to a good start in the south this week, as most of the rain from the weekend has disappeared" sounds like a sentence without the comma
I think I like the temperature at the beginning of winter and summer. I don't like summer for its heat, which reaches 50 degrees in my country, where you can't think about going outside or even staying for a second without the air conditioning. My problem with winter is that I have to wake up every day at 5 o'clock for school, where the temperature is minus zero, and I don't like the gloomy atmosphere of winter.
This topic is much harder than these old ones
Here in our country we have a tropical sessions. The best weather for me is dry.
I suppose that I love winter and autumn. Because , in winter, I can play With my friend by making the snow from snowing and put on the warm coast which is the clothes I like. And then , In autumn, I love the wind , it has made me comfortable and i can study all day with that weather that I'm not tired. Both winter and autumn have similar comfortable air . And , In the morning , I can get up early that I'm not tired and uncomfortable. So , It's the similar winter and autumn seasons had brought people the comfortable feelings.
I like the cold of winter because it makes me feel comfortable and warm when I wear this jacket all day.
i will choose winter and autumn because i like both cold and rainy weather .in my country Sudan the winter is divided from rainy weather ( autumn and its last for 3 months and winter may last for 4 months i really enjoy the good both seasons .
I love summer because it's the season of blooming flowers, singing birds, clear blue skies, and stunning beaches. It's perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, high ropes challenges, and reef scuba diving. In contrast, I'm not a fan of winter with its thunderstorms, drizzle, and floods, which often put me in a bad mood.
