Years ago, I used to study English, basic German and my mother tongue: Spanish with dictionaries in order to get a bank of words (vocabulary). Now, I use "The wordreference.com" dictionary. It is an online dictionary and it gives you the pronunciation, explanation (meaning), its context uses and even examples of the words you are looking for.
