I'm running 10 mins late, sorry!

15:57

No problem!

15:58

Aargh! Traffic is really bad. I'll be more than 10 mins late now, sorry again!!

16:07

It's OK, don't worry. I'm in the café already so it's fine

16:08

This is not my day! I'm here but can't find a place to park. I'm looking for a different car park. Not sure how long I'll be

16:09

OK, LMK when you find a place

16:11

I might get something to eat tho

16:11

Of course! I'll be as quick as I can

16:13

OK!

16:13

Found one! Be there in 10 mins

16:16

Well done! See you soon

16:16

Thx for waiting

Tips

1. You don't need to write complete sentences for text messages.

2. Use abbreviations like LMK (= let me know) or use emojis to save time writing.

3. You don't need to use full stops (.) at the end of messages.

4. Say how many minutes you think you'll need, e.g. I'm running 10 minutes late.

5. It’s good to say sorry and sorry again, but you don't need to say sorry in every message.

I'm always 10 - 20 mins late for work or any appointment I have, I hate that but I guess it became a bad habit. And I always says it's in my genes inherited from my mom as I never saw her made any appointment on time 😅. However, I try my best to break it but I didn't succeed yet, hopefully one day I'll learn to be on time and be more punctual person.

In my jobs or conversations that related my jobs, i'm always on time. But, in some meeting with my friends or dating, sometimes, i'm late 10-20 minutes. Nobody feel angry.

I try not to be late as much as I can because I am the person who can’t stand waiting. If the situation is more serious like a meeting, I always arrive on time. I leave 1 hour earlier than the meeting time to avoid all possible disturbances such as traffic jam and accident. 15 minutes is my maximum limit. If the waiting time is longer than that, my impression on that person will become negative.

I'm always on time for most of the cases. But it depends on the serious and if I have to see my friends I have always arrived on late. But I don't want to think that don't give a respect to them. I like to do the things that come near to the deadline. So it becomes dramatically a habit. I have aslo a trauma that I hate to wait someone more than minutes. Later I will try to rectify my habit and depart from home before at least 15mins to see.

I work remotely as a designer and I have a daily meeting at 9AM, but I'm late every day because I sleep late every night.
