My parents have a garden at the back of the house. The garden is kind of large with many kind of fruits and vegetables. My dad grows banana, mango, guava and star fruit, he also plants cabbage, water morning glory and pumpkin. He thinks that vegetables which are sold in the market aren't good for health because they contain too much chemicals. My mom makes the garden more wonderful by planting flowers such as rose, daisy and paper flower. That is the reason why my parents are always busy in the morning. Anyway, I think they feel happy with their own garden. P/s: I lack of Writing skill, If you see my mistakes, please correct them for me! Thanks!

No. There isn't a garden in my house. I like it, but I just think it's very difficult to keep a garden.

My house doesn't has any garden because i live in an apartment in the city. But my parent has some garden in my hometown. My parents are farmers. They plant coffees, durians to buy. Sometime when my mom has free time, she plants vegetables, corncobs... she also feed chickens and ducks. They worked hard to give their children a good life. I love them.

Hello admins, I just wanted to ask you how to use the word 'adjacent'. In my previous post, I used the word as a verb, but perhaps it doesn't have a verb form. So would this sentence be acceptable? "My garden is tiny but it is adjacent to other nearby gardens with each other. So I can enjoy viewing a bigger garden than it was supposed to be!" Correct me, please. (๑ت๑)

Hello Rafaela1

In the sentence in this comment, 'adjacent' is used correctly, but it sounds a little strange since it is a formal word and the rest of the sentence is not. Most of the time, people would say 'next to' here. What I'd recommend is something even simpler: 'My garden is tiny, but since it is next to other gardens, I can enjoy viewing a bigger garden!'

All the best
