I think that laptops and pens are most important. To begin with, people prepare by using laptops until meetings. Therefore, no matter how much they work hard, they can not do good presentation without their laptops. Of course, I know the skill of talking is necessary when meeting. But it is not facilities. Second, we use pens in a kind of situations. For example, I often write what my teacher says "this is important things.". The reason why is that I try not to forget it. So, in the serious situations such a conference, I believe having pens are significant. In addition, I often see that many workers always have a pen in their pockets. These reasons make me think I think laptops and pens are important when I go to a conference or meeting.

I think there are many things important for me when I am going to go to a conference. First of all, facilities are primarily important for me, especially things like free Wi-Fi, books, handouts, greate rooms or halls for training program, computers, good trainers, and a good agenda and program. Next, convenient things are also necessary to participate in a conference, for example, refreshments during the day of training, available and comfortable transportation if a conference is not the same place of dormitory building, and a safe and secure hotel. Finally, in my view it is important to create a free and secure atmosphere and opportunity for all participants to share their ideas freely. Infact, a conference should prepare all things which are basic and reliable for developing and improvements of participants. Why I think these facilities are necessary is that the conference should bring changes in our ideas, emotions, and behaviours. It should give us this opportunity to make more qualifications than that we had before the conference. Regards, Tayyebi

Hi ,this is the first time I go in here to comment , please I have a question . Why the writter said : located not location (here) Conveniently located in the city centre, the International Centre is close to the shops and only a ten-minute walk to the train station. Is this word here a verb or a name or an adjective . if it was a passive voice verb where is the verb to be ? Thanks so much.

Hello Mahmoud moza,

Location is a noun, while located is an adjective. In the sentenece, an adjective is needed as the clause is describing a noun (the International Centre).

If you wanted to use location then you would need to change the sentence:

With a location in the city centre, the International Centre is close to the shops and only a ten-minute walk to the train station.

Its location is in the city centre, so the International Centre is close to the shops and only a ten-minute walk to the train station.
