Subject: Report on Lumos conference

Dear Jonas,

Thanks for making it possible for me to go to the Lumos conference in London last week. As you know, it is the biggest technology conference in the country and very important to our work.

I learned a lot and I've made some new contacts that will be good for our company. I think we should try to attend the 'Innovation Day' in April as well.

I focused on talks about robotics, as that is our most interesting area at the moment. The presentations on robot 'hands' and robots for hospitals were particularly interesting for us. I'm attaching a detailed report on this new research with some suggestions about how we can use it.

Thanks again for this opportunity. I'm happy to discuss the report further if you're interested.

Best regards,
Nina

Tips

  1. Start your email with Dear to make it a little more formal. Hi is informal.
  2. Give the context at the beginning, e.g. Thanks for … or As you know, …
  3. Make sure you explain the importance of the event for your company:
I've made some new contacts that will be good for our company.
… were particularly interesting for us.
… with some suggestions about how we can use it.
  4. Keep your email short. Add an attachment if you have more to say:
    I'm attaching …
  5. You can finish by offering to give more information:
I'm happy to discuss the report further if you're interested.
  6. You can sign off with Best regards.

Do you ever go to events or conferences for work?

I am an introverted person, I am not good at making new contacts, I don't like go to any events or conferences

With my jobs, I mostly work as the paperwork clerk, So I have not been to any events or conferences for work.

But when I was in university, I have a chance been to the Unilever brand's event , My classmate asked me to go to with her. In this event, they presented by English, so I can't not understand what they said, I felt so shy and not confident in that events, I felt myself was very bad. I need to improve my English skills

Not really, sometimes we have some videoconferences or virtual meetings with providers whom
offer specific software or services that may help us in our line of work in education. But I would
like to go if I have the opportunity.

Thanks for the lesson.

Great site!!

Yes, I do, I attended a conference about the garment last month. This is a big garment conference, I met a lot of people in here and learn new things about garment as fabric, color, design, trending of fashion.

Dear Lukas,

Thank you for your information about the garment conference at SSC. As you know, this is a big garment conference. I made some new contacts in here and learned new things about garment as fabric, color, design, trending of fashion.
I’m so excited and I’ll continually attend more conferences like this in the future because I see it’s so helpful for me.
Ah, I have just received some information about the fashion conferences in March, I will attend this conference. Would you like to attend that conference with me, Lukas? Please, let me know when you receive my email. I hear everyone tell this conference will be modern and have a lot of suppliers from aboard come to connect with local garment company in Vietnam. I think this is a opportunity for us.
Ok, I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards!
Lucie

Dear Denis,

As you know, I attended the natural food conference in Sortavala last week. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in it.

I met a couple of good farmers and a cheese maker there and made contacts with them. Now, we can connect with them and offer them to be a part of our local market.

Here are the presentations of interesting goods and products. We can discuss them a bit later if you're interested.

Best regards, Ari.

I am interested in the real state because I think we can gain a lot of money if we invest in it because of that I was careful about attending any real state exhibition, I received an invitation from one of the real state companies I was so glad to have it and I went to this event I found plenty of most famous real state companies which present a lot of valuable offers I've made some new contacts of companies which were been useful for me, I benefited a lot of this event it helped me to know much information about how to buy and which unit i buy and for sure the prices for each area, it was grade experience

One or twice a year I attend events or conferences. They provide a great opportunity to learn something new and to meet new people.

Dear Laura,

I want to thank you for the amazing conference that you hosted last week. The organization, catering, and the event by itself were top-notch. We learned a lot about the cutting-edge technologies that the modern world has been using for this business process. Sorry for the misunderstanding of my coworker, I promise you I won't happen again.

I have attended the exhibit for work on behalf of my company. that was a good experience. I got familiar with a lot of people in our expertise area.
I found out that if I want to get the most benefits from attending these conferences, I must be ready and focused on the subject I want to progress.
