Subject: Report on Lumos conference

Dear Jonas,

Thanks for making it possible for me to go to the Lumos conference in London last week. As you know, it is the biggest technology conference in the country and very important to our work.

I learned a lot and I've made some new contacts that will be good for our company. I think we should try to attend the 'Innovation Day' in April as well.

I focused on talks about robotics, as that is our most interesting area at the moment. The presentations on robot 'hands' and robots for hospitals were particularly interesting for us. I'm attaching a detailed report on this new research with some suggestions about how we can use it.

Thanks again for this opportunity. I'm happy to discuss the report further if you're interested.

Best regards,
Nina

Dear Renu,

I am writing to express my gratitude for facilitating my attendance at the national planning meeting in Manchester on Monday.

As you are aware, this meeting was of great significance to our team. I gained valuable insights and established several new contacts from other offices. My focus was on the digital marketing plan, and I found the potential for new influencers particularly intriguing for us at this moment.

I am attaching a detailed report on the new digital marketing plan, which includes some suggestions on how we might utilize these insights effectively.

Thank you once again for this opportunity. I would be pleased to discuss the plans further if you are interested.

Regards,
Yash

Dear Thaís,

Hello! How are you? As you know, how I wait for this moment! I’m going to start an internship tomorrow. I am waiting for an opportunity in the technology area. Recently I live in another city, and it’s a little difficult for me to change because I need to adapt myself. I am improving my English, and I give up to the law school. I gave up this college because I realized that this area was not for me. After searching about different professions, I identified myself with technology area. I started the college of computer science, and I realized the difference, I liked it from the first day. I don’t know if I will follow in technology area, but I am learning many things. Thank you very much for recommending this course!

Best regards,

Subject: Personal and Professional Introduction

Dear Mr. Anderson Silva,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Christian, and I currently reside in São Paulo, in the Cidade Tiradentes neighborhood. I wanted to briefly introduce myself and share some of my recent experiences.

I began my career as a young apprentice at Camp, gaining valuable experience at Armarinhos Fernando. Currently, I am focused on systems development, where I’ve gained skills in web development and languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Python. My main technical focus is PHP, Node.js, React.js, and Laravel, along with tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Compass.

Recently, I volunteered at a Seminar on the Valuation of Life, where I assisted attendees with guidance and information. This experience enhanced my communication skills and gave me valuable public service experience, while allowing me to engage with inspiring individuals.

As I continue my studies, I aim to become a senior developer and project manager, with a specialization in data security. I am also passionate about becoming a database evangelist, always seeking new opportunities to grow.

I would be happy to discuss any further details about my background and experiences. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Christian

Content: last reunion report

Dear Mr. Manuel,

Last Friday, my team and I held our weekly meeting to discuss some ideas and suggestions regarding the company. In our meeting last week, the topic was the employees' work environment.

The main criticisms we received about our work environment were the lack of feedback and the disruptive atmosphere. The primary complaints were that the absence of feedback prevents employees from effectively improving and achieving greater efficiency in their work, as well as making it harder to prevent repeated mistakes. Regarding the disruptive work environment, the biggest concern was about gossip, which has been taking over the workplace, creating mistrust among employees.

The processes developed by the team to improve the conditions of our work environment were: supervisors providing brief reports to employees, with objective analyses on how to work more effectively and with fewer errors; and, for the gossip issue, we suggested holding workshops and training sessions on workplace ethics, which could benefit the staff.

I hope we can take into account the problems our teams are facing and take advantage of the solutions developed.

Sincerely,

Gabrielly S. Jessica

In this event, they presented by English, so I can't not understand what they said, I felt so shy and not confident in that events, I felt myself was very bad. I need to improve my English skills

Not really, sometimes we have some videoconferences or virtual meetings with providers whom
offer specific software or services that may help us in our line of work in education. But I would
like to go if I have the opportunity.

Thanks for the lesson.

Great site!!

Do you ever go to events or conferences for work?

Yes, I do, I attended a conference about the garment last month. This is a big garment conference, I met a lot of people in here and learn new things about garment as fabric, color, design, trending of fashion.

Dear Lukas,

Thank you for your information about the garment conference at SSC. As you know, this is a big garment conference. I made some new contacts in here and learned new things about garment as fabric, color, design, trending of fashion.
I’m so excited and I’ll continually attend more conferences like this in the future because I see it’s so helpful for me.
Ah, I have just received some information about the fashion conferences in March, I will attend this conference. Would you like to attend that conference with me, Lukas? Please, let me know when you receive my email. I hear everyone tell this conference will be modern and have a lot of suppliers from aboard come to connect with local garment company in Vietnam. I think this is a opportunity for us.
Ok, I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards!
Lucie

Dear Denis,

As you know, I attended the natural food conference in Sortavala last week. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in it.

I met a couple of good farmers and a cheese maker there and made contacts with them. Now, we can connect with them and offer them to be a part of our local market.

Here are the presentations of interesting goods and products. We can discuss them a bit later if you're interested.

Best regards, Ari.
