Hello all,

Yes of course I usually eat bread in the morning at breakfast,I eat so many different types of bread for example,brown toast ,nann and traditional bread,in my country (Iraq) people have been baking lots of types of bread.It’s really important part of daily diet.now I live in the UK before I came to the UK sometimes I made bread so many different types of bread . My favourite sandwich is (gaz) it’s prepares with lam meat.

The topic is really interesting for me .

Thank you for this lesson, I learned new vocabulary.

I find this study sistem interesting and fun. Personally I prefer video with multiple choice questions on the content and with the text of the video, because i can't always hear well. For the rest I study willingly.

I love bread. I eat it willingly. I prefer creal bread with lots of pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Bread with tomato and a drizzle of olive oil -- it's my favorite summer meal.

Yes, I love to eat Bánh Mì Bột Lọc in the afternoons, a type of bread. As you know about Bánh Mỳ, the most famous version one which is typically filled with a variety of ingredients such as grilled pork, pate, pickled vegetables, cilantro, cucumber, and a drizzle of soy or fish sauce. There are many variations, including vegetarian versions with tofu or egg. Bánh Mì Bột Lọc is also a common street food and is enjoyed at any time of the day. Often found in Central VietNam, especially in regions like Huế and Đà Nẵng. It is less common than the well-known Bánh Mì, but it is cherished for its distinct texture and the way it complements the flavourful fillings. The bread combined with Bánh Bột Lọc, a popular dumpling made from tapioca flour and filled with shrimp or pork, which are rich, savory fillings provides a delightful contrast in taste and texture, making it beloved for those enjoy more traditional and regional dishes.

In my country, rice remains the primary carbohydrate staple in Viet Nam, so I can enjoy dishes in various forms of rice like phở or bún, steamed as rice noodles. Rice and rice-based dishes are deeply ingrained in the daily meals of Vietnamese people.

Thank you so much for britishcouncil for providing such useful topics. I found that topics about food and anything related with food is always challenging for me. But I've learnt some vocabularies from this topics like whole wheat bread, slice of bread, peanut butter, etc. Looking forward to learn more here in this website.

I have enjoyed this topic about bread, very interesting, where we all share our comments about something very common in our daily lives and get to know the tastes and preferences of people from other countries. I thank the British Council for these learning spaces.

first i want to thank British council for all the subjects available to practise our english in many ways without any cost for us, I really appreciate this tremendous help because there are many peolple around the globe who are aiming to learn but not many of us are in a good financial situation.

second i love all the subjects,  they are all related to our daily life in differents parts of the world  and i always recomend friends to join british council

The topic is nice. Food has always have been an interesting topic to discuss, especially that it is combined with some talk about how it seemed like in different cultures especially Bread. The conversation is very important because normally someone wouldn't have the skill of a 'casual spoken language' - the normal everyday talk, as much as a person would have to depict abstract topics rather than casual speaking I may say, I believe it is also important. It helps to broaden our English, I guess! So the most challenging part would be how to describe how you make bread or give a description of the process of making it or doing something, explaining it. Like how David gave an account on making his own bread. In spoken language to be honest it's quite difficult! although it sounds easy. But yeah! we all have an appetite for language...Interesting topics!
